My name is Mai, and I'm from Vietnam. I'm considering exploring cosmetic surgery services in Seoul, but I'm worried about communication because my English isn't very good. I've asked a few people, but the answers varied, so I'd like to hear from those who have had direct consultations there.
Has anyone else encountered this situation? Is your English sufficient to discuss your wishes and concerns at the clinic, or should you find another way? Are there interpreting services available to avoid misunderstandings? I'm especially worried about needing to explain things clearly during the consultation and fearing misinterpretations.
I'm also considering whether I should find someone who speaks Vietnamese, or if that's not a crucial factor. If anyone has experience, please share it with me! Thank you in advance.

I'm also considering going to Seoul for the procedure, and I completely understand your concerns! My English isn't very good either, but I've heard that many clinics offer translation services or at least the front desk staff can help with communication. You can call or email them in advance to ask if they provide Vietnamese translation or Chinese communication, which will save you a lot of trouble.
Hey Mai! I totally get the language anxiety — I'm from the US and also nervous about communicating clearly for something this important. I've been looking into consultations too, and from what I've heard, a lot of places do offer interpreters or translation services, so definitely ask about that when you first reach out. Honestly, I think your English is fine for basic communication, but having that extra support during the actual consultation would give me peace of mind too. Have you tried contacting a few places just to see what options they offer? That way you can find one where you feel comfortable!
