I recently suffered from sudden hearing loss for a long time.
I originally had moderate hearing loss, but it has improved to a level that's borderline between mild and normal. ^^
I made several efforts to recover, and even though you probably know them, I'll share them anyway!
First, I have a Soyangin constitution, meaning heat tends to rise to my upper body.
So, when I was stressed, I experienced tinnitus, heart palpitations, and other symptoms.
I visited both a hospital and an oriental medicine clinic and made some changes to my diet and lifestyle.
The director at the oriental medicine clinic told me that I need to be careful with my diet for hearing loss as well.
In my case, I avoided caffeine, alcohol, sweet drinks, and spicy foods quite a bit.
Instead, I ate a lot of soft foods like tofu and eggs, and vegetables like zucchini and radish.
Oh, and they advised me to avoid late-night snacks as much as possible, so I hardly ate any.
As for exercise, I went up and down the stairs from the first floor to the top floor of my apartment building at least once a week, four times a week. I stopped when I got a little out of breath.
Even just doing this made my body feel better, let alone my hearing loss.
For treatment, I received sound rehabilitation therapy at the hospital, and at the oriental medicine clinic, I mainly received acupuncture and Chuna therapy.
Chuna therapy was surprisingly quite effective. After the session, I slept well at night and felt refreshed.
My hearing loss was previously between moderate-to-severe and severe, but now it has improved to moderate hearing loss.
Maintaining these habits will be key going forward. ^^
Still, I'm very happy that it seems to be improving little by little.
