Has anyone had experience with post-procedure swelling and bruising care after a minor treatment?

Hi everyone! I'm Hsiaoting, and I recently had a minor procedure done in Seoul. I'm back at my hotel now and experiencing some swelling and bruising. I know these are normal parts of the recovery process, but I was wondering if anyone could share some tips for aftercare. Right now, I'm focusing on cold compresses, drinking plenty of water, and avoiding makeup as much as possible, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I should be mindful of.

I'd like to ask for your advice: What's the best frequency for cold compresses? How long should I apply them? Also, are there any specific foods I should avoid or eat more of? I've heard that certain things might make bruising more noticeable, but I'm not sure if that's true. Does sleeping position also make a difference?

I'm planning to return to Taiwan in about a week, and I hope the swelling will have subsided a bit by then. Has anyone had a similar recovery experience within this timeframe that they could share? Or do you have any little tricks to make the recovery process more comfortable? I'd really appreciate any suggestions!
