I work at a flower farm. From dawn until the afternoon, I repeatedly bend over inside a greenhouse to pick flowers. I sweat a lot in the heat, but my weight remains the same, and I feel like the fat around my belly is actually increasing in volume. I thought farm work was good exercise, but it seems that isn't the case.
Since menopause, I started gaining weight around my belly, and I can feel it spreading down to my lower back. Because I repeat bending movements for so long, my lower back pain has become chronic, and I also feel like my body is leaning forward. I'm not sure if my circulation has worsened or if my constitution has deteriorated, but the fact that I can't lose weight even in the heat of the greenhouse makes me suspect it is a matter of my constitution.
I decided I need to take proper care of my body now, so I looked into Gumi Pilates. I heard it helps with posture correction even for those with back pain. However, I'm not sure if my back can keep up with the Gumi Pilates movements in its current state. Since I have to go to work early in the morning, morning classes are difficult, and honestly, I'm not confident my body will have the energy left for the afternoon. I heard that Pilates requires a lot of time.
Aside from Gumi Pilates, if anyone knows of good ways to manage my constitution and body shape while suffering from back pain, please let me know. I would appreciate it if those who have had similar concerns could share their experiences in the comments. I would also appreciate reviews from those who have attended Gumi Pilates!

I came across this while looking for Pilates in Gumi.
I heard that sweating a lot in a greenhouse doesn't necessarily lead to weight loss; in fact, the heat itself can actually put a strain on your body type.
On top of that, if you eat bread or drink beverages while working, sugar builds up, so you tend to gain weight especially around your stomach.
I looked into it too, but since my back is bad, I was too scared to go. I was hesitating, but then I ended up trying Deccanic tablets, and I could feel the difference more than I expected in my body, where circulation has slowed down.
Deccanic tablets? I've never heard of them.
I'm wondering if they are effective even for cases where weight is gained around the abdomen after menopause.
I felt a bit thirsty for the first two weeks or so after I started taking it.
It was fine if you drink water frequently while taking it!
I see Deccanic tablets are available here too, haha.
I'm considering trying them myself because I heard they're very effective.
There are quite a few people around me who take them, too.
If you hesitate about starting Pilates in Gumi, your back condition will actually get worse in the meantime.
I started with pain as well, but the pain actually decreased as I got the posture right.
I don't think you need to be too scared.
If snacking while working has become a habit, the results will be slow even if you go to the gym. You need to combine exercise with cutting down on snacks to feel the effects quickly.
For those with back pain,
In Gumi Pilates, it is better to start with basic lying-down movements and gradually build up your routine rather than beginning with high-intensity exercises.
Overexerting yourself can actually have a counterproductive effect on your lumbar spine.
Even though farm work is tough, it’s separate from improving your constitution.
If you keep at it consistently, you will see results in managing your weight. I’m rooting for you!
