How to Care for Your Skin After a Minor Procedure to Reduce Swelling Quickly?

Hi sisters, I just completed a small procedure and my face is a bit swollen and bruised right now, so I'm a little worried. I wanted to ask how you all take care of your skin during recovery? Are there any daily tips that can help reduce swelling?

Right now I'm mainly doing ice therapy and sleeping with my head elevated, but I'm not sure what other methods might help with recovery. I've heard that diet is also really important? Has anyone here shared their recovery experience before, like what foods are good to eat and what should I avoid?

Also, how can I get the bruising to fade as quickly as possible, since I have plans to see friends soon and I'm a bit embarrassed haha. If anyone has been through a similar situation, could you share roughly how long it takes to look relatively normal again? I know everyone's recovery timeline might be different, but I'd still love to hear your thoughts.
