Hi, my name is Beam, and I'm planning my first cosmetic surgery trip to Seoul. I was wondering if English proficiency is sufficient during the clinic consultation? I speak fluent Thai, but my English isn't very strong. I'm also unsure about the cost of an interpreter, or if most clinics there are proficient in English.
I've seen some websites mention providing translation services, but it's unclear how comprehensive that is or if there are any additional charges. 😅 Has anyone been to Seoul before? What were your experiences like? I'd appreciate hearing from those who have been there in the past. Thank you in advance!

Hi! I'm also worried about the language barrier 😅 I was wondering if you've considered using translation software or finding a local translator friend to help? I've heard that some hospital international staff speak pretty good English, but the specific situation really varies from hospital to hospital, so prior communication is very important!
I'm Vietnamese too, so I understand your anxiety! My experience is that you should contact them beforehand via email in English or use Google Translate to ask about their translation services, because they vary greatly. I've seen many places with English-speaking staff or translation support, but it's best to ask in advance for peace of mind 😊
