Hi, my name is Som. I'm thinking of getting beauty treatments in Seoul, but I'm worried about the language barrier. I speak English okay, but not fluently, and of course, nobody here speaks Thai 😅
So I'd like to ask if consultations in Seoul usually provide interpreters? Makeup is also important, so I need to research the details. I'm worried that if I only speak English, I might not be able to fully express my feelings and desires. Has anyone been to Seoul before? Was this a problem? Is it a good idea to contact them beforehand to see what kind of assistance they offer?
Thank you in advance 💕

I was thinking the same thing! 😅 I think you should call them before you go to make sure they have a translator or someone who speaks English, because the details of the makeup and the results are really important and you don't want to lose them in translation!
I'm also worried about the language barrier! I was wondering if you've considered typing out your needs beforehand using translation software, or finding a friend who speaks Thai to help you translate? I've heard that some places offer translation services, but it seems you need to make an appointment in advance. Have you asked any clinics about that?
My wish came true! When I went to Settaewong, I was worried about the language barrier too, but it turned out that most of the staff spoke English fluently. And since they were often available, they also had a Thai-Korean translation app 😊 I think it's a good idea to chat with them beforehand, mentioning that you're Thai and need language assistance. They're usually happy to help and might arrange a translator or use an app.
