Hi everyone! I'm Shihhan from Taiwan, and I'm considering getting some beauty treatments in Seoul, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I really don't understand medical terminology, and nobody understands my Taiwanese, haha. I'd like to ask about everyone's experience—is English usually enough when consulting at clinics in Korea? Or is it necessary to know Korean?
A friend of mine said some clinics offer Chinese services, but I'm not sure if all of them do. I'm actually hesitant to call or text directly, afraid of communication breakdowns. Has anyone recently been to Seoul for a similar consultation and could share how you communicated? Is translation software helpful? Or are there other methods?
It seems like the process is a bit complicated, but I really want to understand it clearly. Any advice from those who have been there would be so appreciated!

I was wondering the same thing! They say many clinics in Seoul have English-speaking staff, but I'm worried about some medical terms being difficult to understand, haha. Maybe we could try contacting a few places first via email or chat to see how they respond, or use a translator app to prepare — I hope this helps!
