Hi everyone, I'm Ha from Vietnam. I'm planning to fly to Seoul for some treatments, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is only average, and I don't know any Korean at all.
I'd like to ask for advice from those with experience. Do clinics in Seoul have staff who speak English? Or is a translator required? I've heard that some clinics offer Vietnamese support, but I'm not sure if that's true.
My biggest concern is that during the consultation, I need to understand clearly what's going to be done, the risks, and the consequences... so I'm afraid my English isn't sufficient. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Could you please share some tips? Or does anyone know how to prepare better? 🙏

I'm also from Vietnam! Have you considered writing down your questions beforehand using Google Translate or another app, so you can show them to the doctor directly when you go for your consultation? I've heard that some clinics offer translation services, but you might need to make an appointment in advance and let them know you need it.
Hi! I also traveled from overseas to Seoul for treatment. In my experience, many clinics offer English consultation services, but the quality varies greatly. Have you considered confirming the clinic's English support capabilities beforehand via email or Messenger? This can avoid communication difficulties upon arrival 😅
