Hi everyone! I'm Peihan, from Taiwan. I'm recently considering getting some beauty treatments in Seoul, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, and Chinese is obviously no problem, but I don't know any Korean at all, haha.
I wanted to ask about everyone's experiences – is it difficult to communicate in English during consultations? Or do some clinics have Chinese-speaking staff or translation services? I'm a little afraid of not being able to clearly explain the results I want during the consultation, or not understanding what the doctor says.
Has anyone here had a consultation using English or Chinese? I'd love to hear about your real experiences! Should I prepare English translations for some keywords beforehand? Or are there any tips you can share? Thanks everyone!

Hi Peihan! I'm also from Taiwan and went to Seoul for a consultation last year. I wanted to ask if you've already shortlisted a few clinics? Because I found that some places really do have Chinese-speaking staff, but others don't, so doing your research beforehand is really important 😅
hey Peihan! I'm actually thinking about doing something similar soon and was worried about the same thing — so glad you asked this! From what I've heard from other people online, a lot of places do have English-speaking staff or can arrange translators, especially the bigger ones, but it probably varies a lot. I think your idea about prepping key words and maybe writing down what you want to achieve beforehand is super smart — honestly that would help even if everyone spoke the same language haha. Would love to hear what people say!
