Hello everyone, I'm Xia. I've been considering getting some beauty treatments in Seoul recently, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but not super fluent, and my Chinese is definitely fine. Has anyone consulted with an aesthetic clinic in Seoul before? Do they usually have Chinese-speaking staff, or is English sufficient?
I've heard that some larger establishments might have translators or Chinese consultations, but I'm not sure if this is standard practice or only available at specific clinics. If there's no Chinese support, I'm concerned I might not be able to accurately describe the results I want, especially regarding specific details.
Has anyone had a similar experience? How did you handle it? Is it helpful to mention the need for a translator when booking in advance? I'd love to hear everyone's real experiences so I can feel more confident. Thank you!

I went for a consultation once. I called ahead and asked if they could arrange for a Chinese interpreter or provide the consultation documents in Chinese. They understood and were able to arrange it. Larger clinics often have more staff who can speak Chinese. It's a good idea to consult in advance.
