Hi everyone, I'm Diep from Vietnam and I'm planning to go to Seoul for some treatments next month. My main concern is communication – I can speak English, but not Korean, I only understand a little. Has anyone had a consultation or examination at one of those clinics where only English was used? Did they help out, or did I need to find an interpreter?
I heard that some places have English-speaking staff, but I don't know how common that is. The important thing is that I want to clearly understand what the doctor is saying and avoid misunderstandings during the consultation. If anyone has been there, could you share your experience or suggest ways I can better prepare before the consultation? I'd really appreciate it!
I'm also curious about what apps people usually use to help with communication? Or should I find a guide beforehand? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm also from Vietnam, and last time I went for a consultation, it was only in English. Luckily, the staff were very friendly and helped me translate the parts I didn't understand! You can prepare a list of questions written in English beforehand; that will make communication much easier.
I'm also from Vietnam and had the same worries as you, but luckily, when I went for a consultation, I met an English interpreter who explained everything quite clearly. I recommend contacting them beforehand via email or text message to ask if they have English-speaking staff, as not all places have them readily available and you need to make arrangements in advance!
