Hi everyone! I'm Shihhan from Taiwan. I'm planning to fly to Korea next month for a minor cosmetic procedure, but I'm a bit worried about post-operative swelling. Since I'll need to go back to work in Taiwan, I wanted to ask if anyone has undergone a similar procedure? How long does the swelling typically last after the procedure?
Also, I'd like to ask for advice: what kind of skincare products or items do you usually bring with you to use after a procedure in Korea? I've heard some people buy local soothing products, but I'm not sure which ones are most effective. Can anyone share their experiences? I'd love to know what actually helps and what might just be a placebo effect, haha.
If anyone has any special post-operative skincare routines or tips, I'd really love to hear them! For example, how to apply ice packs, what to avoid, or what supplements might be helpful. Thanks, everyone!

Hello Shihhan! I'm also from Taiwan and completely understand your concerns 😅 I was also worried about swelling affecting my work before, but I found that cold compresses are really important, and getting enough sleep seems to make a big difference too. Of course, everyone's situation is different. If you have the chance, I recommend consulting with medical aesthetics staff; they'll give you more specific advice. Wishing you the best!
