Hi everyone, I'm Tam from Vietnam. I'm planning a trip to Seoul for some aesthetic consultations, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. I can speak basic English, but not very fluently. I'm wondering if clinics there have English-speaking staff, or if I should try to find places with Vietnamese speakers?
Has anyone here had consultations in Seoul using only English? What were your experiences like? Was it easy to understand information about treatment procedures, or should I consider hiring a translator? I'm a bit anxious because I want to be absolutely sure I understand everything before making a decision.
Thanks so much! 💕

I'm also worried about this issue 😅 Have you contacted the places you want to go to yet? I've heard many places offer English consultations, but it's best to clarify how to communicate beforehand. If your English isn't fluent, perhaps you could prepare the questions you want to ask in advance and use a translation app?
Oh, I was thinking about this too! 😅 I've heard that many places have real-time chat translation, or they'll try to speak English understandably. But it's best if we ask in advance how they handle language barriers, or perhaps send them a message beforehand with the information we want to know. I'm a bit worried myself too 💕
I understand! I had the same worries at first 😅 I actually went for a consultation in English by myself, but most clinics have English-speaking staff, so it was okay. However, there were times when detailed explanations were difficult, so I think it's a good idea to confirm via email beforehand, asking "Can you accommodate me in English?" Tam, you can do it too!
Hi Tam! I'm also from overseas. I've had consultations in English before, and generally, communication was okay, but some medical terms were still a bit unclear 😅 Have you considered preparing a list of questions beforehand or using a translation app to help? I think that would make me feel more at ease~
I'm also considering getting related treatments in Seoul, so I completely understand your concerns! My English isn't particularly fluent either, but based on the experiences I've seen shared, many places offer English consultations, and some even provide translators. You could ask the clinic beforehand if they have Vietnamese staff or translation services available, which would give you more peace of mind 😊
