Hello everyone! I'm Rara, from Indonesia. So I'm planning to get aesthetic treatment in Korea next year, but honestly, I'm a bit nervous about finding a trustworthy clinic, especially since I'm not very fluent in Korean.
What I want to ask is: how do you guys choose a clinic? Is it really important to have an interpreter who speaks Indonesian, or is English okay too? And what should I check before committing to a clinic? I'm worried about miscommunication regarding treatment expectations.
Has anyone had experience dealing with a language barrier during a consultation? And how do you ensure that the doctor/staff is truly professional and not just sales-oriented? I want a genuine consultation, not one that's just chasing a closing, hehe.
Any tips or experiences would really help! Thank you in advance 🙏

I'm a foreigner too, so I understand your feelings! I think it's best to talk directly to the places beforehand via phone or video call to ask for clarification. That way, you can get a sense of whether they're listening to you. You can also use Google Translate, but prepare notes beforehand to avoid misunderstandings. 🙏
Hi Lala! I completely understand your concerns; language communication is indeed very important. I was wondering if you've considered writing down your needs and concerns beforehand using translation software and then showing them to the doctor during your consultation? This seems like it could help reduce misunderstandings. What do you think of this approach?
