As foreigners, how do you all choose a cosmetic surgery clinic in Korea?

Hi everyone! I'm Yao, and I've been thinking about getting a small aesthetic procedure done in Seoul recently. Honestly, as a foreigner, I'm a bit lost. I've watched a lot of Chinese Xiaohongshu posts and YouTube videos, but the information feels all over the place, and I'm not sure who to trust.

I wanted to ask you all, how do you find reliable clinics? I'm especially curious — is there any way to confirm if a clinic is legitimate? Also, how do you usually handle language barriers during consultations? Do you bring your own translator, or do clinics offer English or Chinese consultations? My English is okay, but I'm a bit unsure about medical terminology.

Also, if anyone has had consultations but ultimately didn't proceed with surgery, what was your experience like? I want to compare a few places and hear what they each have to say. Are there any red flags I should be particularly aware of? I'd really love to hear from other international users about their real experiences!
