Hey everyone! So I just got back to my hotel after having a little cosmetic procedure done here in Korea, and honestly the swelling and bruising are more than I expected lol. I'm trying to be patient with it, but I'm also kind of paranoid I'm not taking care of it right.
I've been doing the basics – keeping it elevated, using cold compress for the first couple days – but I'm wondering what actually made a difference for people who've done this before? Like, did ice really help, or is that just what everyone says? And how long did the bruising usually stick around for you? I'm flying home in about a week and lowkey panicking it'll still be visible.
Also, has anyone had luck with anything specific for reducing swelling? I'm not looking for miracles or anything, I'm just trying to take care of myself properly while I'm still here. Any tips on what to avoid (besides alcohol and salty foods, which I'm already doing) would be super helpful. Oh, and if you have suggestions on what to pack for the flight home, that would be great too!
Thanks in advance – this community has been so supportive through all of this 💕

Sister, have you tried drinking plenty of water or eating anything that helps reduce swelling? I'm also in Seoul and just had my procedure done, and I'm very swollen now, so I wanted to know if you have any special techniques besides the usual ice pack 😅
