Hi everyone! I recently had a minor aesthetic procedure done, and I'm experiencing some swelling and bruising. While it's not severe, I'm still a little worried. I wanted to ask if anyone has had a similar experience and what aftercare tips can help speed up recovery?
Right now, I'm doing ice packs daily, trying to sleep with my head elevated, and eating a light diet. However, I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct approach or if there's anything I'm missing. For example, when can I resume activities like exercise and skincare?
Are there any sisters willing to share their recovery experiences? Especially those who had significant swelling that eventually subsided, how did you get through that stage? What can you eat and what should you avoid? I'm mainly looking to understand general recovery knowledge to feel more at ease.

I had a similar experience a few months ago and panicked just like you! 😅 Besides using cold compresses and sleeping with my head elevated, I completely avoided alcohol and salty foods for a while. As for exercise, I waited until the swelling had significantly reduced before starting light activities. I hope you get better soon, just be patient, it'll disappear before you know it 💪
