After a minor procedure, do you have any tips for reducing swelling and redness?

Hi everyone! I'm Loan, and I just had a pretty simple beauty procedure done in Seoul. I'm currently in the recovery phase and have some swelling around the treated area, which the doctor warned is normal. I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience — like how to care for it at home, what to do and not do to reduce this swelling?

Right now, I'm trying to keep the area warm (or cold?), drink plenty of water, and avoid strenuous activities. But I'm not sure if that's the best approach, or how long it will take for things to return to normal. Has anyone been through something similar and can share what helped you?
