Hey everyone! I had a minor procedure done yesterday, and now my face is a bit swollen and bruised. Although the doctor gave me some advice, I'd love to hear about your actual experiences. This is my first time getting this kind of treatment in Korea, and I'm not entirely sure how to best care for it in my daily routine.
Right now I'm mainly doing cold compresses and trying to keep my face as still as possible, but I'm not sure what else I can do beyond that. Has anyone shared how you typically deal with swelling? Things like diet, sleep position, skincare product choices—that sort of thing? I've heard that certain things might make it worse, but I'm not entirely sure what specifically to avoid.
Also, I'd like to ask based on your experience—how long does this kind of reaction usually take to gradually go down? I know everyone's different, but I'd like to have a rough idea of the timeline. If anyone has any simple, practical tips, I'd really appreciate it!

Hey! I totally get the swelling concern — I had similar puffiness after a procedure last year and honestly, just keeping my head elevated even while sleeping made such a difference for me. Also, I tried to avoid super salty foods for like the first week just to help with water retention, though I'm not sure how much it actually helped!
