Hi everyone, I'm Na, and I'm considering getting a minor cosmetic procedure done in Seoul. However, I'm a little worried about the language barrier... My English is okay, but not fluent; Mandarin is fine. Will English be sufficient for the consultation? Or is it necessary to find a clinic with Chinese-speaking customer service?
I've heard that many clinics have translators or multilingual staff, but I'm not sure if all of them do. Have any of you recently had a consultation in Seoul? What was your experience like? Do you need to tell the clinic you need a translator beforehand?
Also, if English isn't an option, are there online translation services or other alternatives? I'm a little nervous and want to do my research beforehand. Thank you for your advice!

I understand your concerns! I'm Thai, and my English isn't perfect either, but when I consulted in Seoul last month, I found that many places actually have staff who speak Chinese or English. So your strength in Chinese will be a big help. Try contacting several places before making an appointment to see if they have translation services or speak Chinese. Wishing you a smooth process!
