Hello everyone! I'm Cinta, from Indonesia. I'm seriously considering going to Seoul for an aesthetic treatment consultation, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. I speak English, but not very fluently, hehe. I'd like to hear from those of you who have been there—is English sufficient for a consultation, or do I need to use an interpreter or additional translator?
Has anyone ever consulted in Indonesian directly or through a translation app? I've heard that some places in Seoul are quite accommodating to international patients, but I'm not sure how the process works. I'm afraid of miscommunication about what I want, and then the results won't be what I expected, hehe.
If any of you have experienced this, please share your experience! Did the clinic help with communication? How long does the consultation usually take? Thank you! 🙏

I understand your concerns! I'm from Thailand and had the same language barrier, but after going twice, I found that most staff are very helpful. Some places have translation services or offer video calls for communication. Try messaging the place you're interested in before you travel, stating your needs and mentioning that you need a letter of recommendation to match your expectations. ✨
I totally understand how Shinta feels! I have similar anxieties, so seeing this post made me feel a little relieved. I also want to know if it's okay to communicate in English. Using a translation app might be an option. I hope someone shares their actual experience soon! 😊
