Hi everyone, I'm Min. I'm recently considering a consultation for skin management in Seoul, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, and my Chinese is definitely fine, but I have zero foundation in Korean. I wanted to ask if anyone has had consultations at clinics or medical aesthetic institutions in Seoul and how their English or Chinese support is.
I've looked at some places online and it seems like some might offer Chinese translation services or have Chinese-speaking staff, but I'm not sure about the specifics of how it works or if I need to book far in advance. If I communicate in English, will the doctors and consultants be able to clearly explain the treatment process and potential risks?
Has anyone had a similar experience they can share? I'm particularly interested in hearing about how smoothly the language communication went throughout the entire consultation process. Thank you all!

As a Chinese speaker myself, I consulted with a few places in Seoul before and felt that booking a Chinese interpreter by phone or email in advance is indeed very important. I was wondering if you've seen any institutions' websites that clearly state their interpreter booking process? I was a bit unsure about how far in advance I needed to mention needing Chinese language support.
Hello Min! I'm having the exact same issue and was very interested in your post. I suggest paying attention to places that offer assistance in English or Chinese, as I've heard many do lately.
