Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip to Seoul in a few months and I'm thinking about getting a consultation for some aesthetic work while I'm there. My Korean is basically nonexistent (like, I can say hello and thank you, that's it lol), so I'm wondering what the reality is with language barriers at clinics.
Do most places in Seoul have English-speaking staff, or should I be prepared to bring a translator? I've heard some clinics are really used to international clients, but I'm not sure if that's everywhere or just the bigger places. I'm honestly a bit nervous about trying to explain what I want when there's a language gap — especially for something medical-related where precision matters.
Has anyone been through consultations in Seoul as a non-Korean speaker? What was your experience? Did you use translation apps, hire someone, or did the clinic just have English-speaking consultants? Any tips would be really helpful!

I'm also planning a trip to Seoul and have had a similar experience, so I can really empathize! I've heard that larger establishments usually have English-speaking staff or translation services, but it's probably better to prepare thoroughly by researching beforehand or bringing a translation app for peace of mind.
