Hi everyone! I'm Shuting, and I'm considering getting some cosmetic procedures in Seoul, but honestly, I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is pretty good, but I'm not sure if it'll be enough to handle all the details during the consultation… especially communicating my desired results and concerns with the doctor.
Has anyone had similar experience? Is English sufficient for the appointment and consultation? Or do many clinics have Chinese-speaking staff or translators? I've heard that many clinics in Seoul have experience serving international patients, but I'd like to hear from others first to see if anyone has gone through this process.
Will it be difficult if my English isn't good? Has anyone used a translator or an app to help? I want to understand the situation beforehand so I can prepare properly! Thank you everyone!

I'm also a Chinese speaker, so I understand your concerns! I'd like to ask if you've considered contacting the hospital beforehand via WeChat or email to see if they offer Chinese customer service or translation services? This would greatly reduce the stress of face-to-face communication.
