Hi everyone, I'm Hang from Vietnam. I'm interested in trying some cosmetic procedures in Korea, but I'm having a big problem: I don't understand Korean very well. When I search on review sites, I see a lot of reviews, but I don't know which ones are reliable, which are fake, or hidden advertisements. Do you have any tips on how to distinguish them?
I also want to ask what signs to look out for to avoid unreliable places? For example, reviews that are too good to even visit, or strange descriptions? I don't know where to start, especially since I don't speak Korean well.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How do you find reliable information without being scammed? I would be very grateful for any advice!

I'm also a foreigner, so I totally understand your predicament! I was wondering if you've considered using translation software to help understand those reviews? I did that before, and although it wasn't 100% accurate, it helped me determine some basic information.
Hi Hanh, I'm also from Vietnam and experiencing a similar situation! I wanted to ask if you've asked a Korean friend to translate and double-check the reviews, or if you're looking for other ways to be more certain about the reliability of that place?
You're from Vietnam, huh? I understand how you feel, since my Japanese isn't perfect either 😅 When reading reviews, I feel like posts with lots of photos and detailed descriptions are more trustworthy. Also, asking people you know who have been there is the safest option! Good luck!
Ann, thank you for your hard work! I understand completely as I was in the same situation. By the way, did you ask any Korean friends or locals directly? I usually have my Korean friends narrow down the options for me, and then I check them carefully using a translation app, but I feel like having that kind of personal network makes things much easier.
