Hi everyone, I'm Chiawei from Taiwan. I'm considering going to Seoul for a beauty consultation, but honestly, I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but not fluent, and my Chinese is fine, of course. I'd like to ask if I'll be at a disadvantage at clinics in Seoul if I only speak English and Chinese?
I have friends who say some places offer translation services or Chinese communication channels, but I'm not sure how common that is in Seoul. Has anyone recently had a consultation? What was your experience like? Are most beauty clinics able to communicate in English? Or is it better to bring a translator or a friend for peace of mind?
I want to fully understand the doctor's advice, so language communication is quite important to me. Can anyone share how they handled the language barrier when they went to Seoul for a consultation? Thank you!

I'm also worried about the language barrier! Have you considered emailing the hospital you're planning to go to or contacting their online customer service to see if they offer Chinese translation services? I've heard that some places can arrange translations, but it definitely requires prior communication.
