Hi everyone! I'm Shuting. I had a short treatment in Seoul a few days ago, and my face is still a bit swollen and bruised. I know this is normal, but I was wondering how everyone takes care of themselves during the recovery period?
I'm currently applying ice every day and trying to keep my head elevated while sleeping. However, I'm not sure if there are any other methods you commonly use besides these. I've heard that some people eat certain foods to help reduce swelling, but I don't know if they're really effective. Would anyone be willing to share their recovery experience?
Also, I'd like to ask how long it usually takes for the swelling and bruising to noticeably improve? I'm quite eager to get back to normal (laughs), but I know it might take some time and patience. If anyone has experienced something similar, I'd love to hear how you got through the recovery period! Thank you!

I understand! I was in a similar situation last month, and I sighed every time I looked in the mirror 😅 I think using an ice pack and elevating your pillow is really important. I was doing the same thing. Recovery really does take time, so you just have to be patient and wait. From my experience, the noticeable swelling started to go down after about a week, but I think it took more than two weeks for it to completely subside. Let's both hang in there!
I totally understand how you feel! I've been through this too, and being patient and letting time pass is really the most important thing. 😅 Your method with ice and sleeping with your head elevated is excellent. I did the same for the first week, and patience is truly key!
