Tips for caring for swelling and bruising after minor procedures — can anyone share any?

Hi everyone! So I just had a small procedure here and am currently recovering. The swelling and bruising are still quite noticeable, and I'm a little worried about whether I'm doing it right.

I'm curious if anyone has had similar experiences? What would be the most helpful in reducing the swelling and bruising? I tried a cold compress on the first day, but I'm not sure if I should continue or switch to a warm compress. Also, are there any restrictions I should avoid, like certain exercises or foods?

Also, how long does it usually take for the swelling and bruising to completely subside? I know everyone is different, but I'd love to know a general estimate. I'd love to hear from anyone who could share their experiences or tips — this is my first time doing this and I'm a little nervous! 😅
