Hi everyone, I'm Huiwen from Taiwan. I'm recently considering going to Seoul for some cosmetic consultations, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I'm unsure if all clinics offer English consultations? Or has anyone tried communicating in Chinese?
I know some international clinics should have translators or English-speaking doctors, but I'd like to ask about your actual experiences—how do clinics usually handle language during consultations? Do you need to discuss this beforehand when you book, or do they have a system in place for you on-site?
If any ladies from Taiwan or Hong Kong have been there, could you share any difficulties you encountered with communication? I'm worried about not being able to get clear details about the treatment and feeling uneasy. Thank you!

I also went to Seoul from Taiwan for a consultation last year. I suggest you contact the clinic in advance via email or WeChat to tell them whether you need to communicate in Chinese or English. Most international clinics will arrange a translator or an English-speaking doctor in advance. That's what I did, and having a translator present during the consultation made me feel much more at ease!
