Hi! My name is Ploy, and I'm from Thailand. I just had a minor procedure in Korea yesterday, and now my face is a little puffy and swollen 😅 I'd like to know if anyone who's been through this before has any advice on self-care afterward. For example, how to reduce swelling, or what should I avoid during recovery?
I've already followed the clinic's instructions, which included sleeping and having a pillow under my head. Does anyone have any special tips? Like, are there any foods or vitamins that help speed up recovery, or things I should avoid in the first week? Hehe
I know everyone's recovery is different, but I'd like to know how long it generally takes for the swelling to subside. 🥺 Thank you in advance for your advice!

Hello Ploy! I'm also a foreigner who had a similar mini-treatment in Korea, so I totally understand how you feel 😅 In my experience, the swelling was most pronounced in the first three days, then gradually subsided, but everyone is really different. I think the most helpful thing is to get plenty of sleep, elevate your head with pillows, and eat a light diet, avoiding anything too spicy, just like you have. If your clinic has given specific home care advice, follow it to be on the safest track. Feel free to ask your doctor again if you have any questions! Good luck 💪
Go for it! I respect your choice to get plenty of sleep and stay calm 😊 When I was traveling in Korea, people who had been there told me that drinking lots of water and avoiding salt really helps. But everyone is different, of course. Take it easy!
Hi Ploy! I was thinking of trying the same thing you did! 😅 Seeing your post has made me feel much safer. Hope your swelling goes down quickly!
Hello Ploy! My friend also said that she had a man for the first 2-3 days after undergoing a similar procedure. What have you been eating lately? Should you wash it with cold water or leave it alone?
