Hi, my name is Aim. I did something minor yesterday, and now I have some swelling and bruising, which is normal. 😅 But I'd like to know if anyone who's been through this has any tips on taking care of themselves during this time.
I've been taking care of myself fairly well, like using ice and doing head exercises, without worrying too much, but I'd like to hear other people's perspectives. Does anyone know of anything that can help reduce swelling faster? Are there any things I should avoid or be especially careful about during the first week? I'm still a bit unsure about what's the best approach.
Anyone with experience, please share your advice. Thank you in advance! 🙏

I had the same situation! The first week seems to be the hardest, but it sounds like you're taking good care of yourself. I had to accept the time of the devices depending on the situation, but I agree that the natural recovery time is different for everyone.
Hi Aim! I've been through something similar, and what helped me the most was to rest and avoid strenuous activity for the first week—seriously, any rough movement makes the swelling last longer. Besides ice and keeping my head elevated while sleeping, I also try to drink plenty of water and eat foods that aren't too salty, as salt can make the swelling last longer. I hope you get better soon! 🙏
Hey, I've been through something similar, and what helped me the most was consistently applying cold compresses in the beginning, plus reducing strenuous activity! I hope you get better soon, and stay positive, as this is a normal part of the healing process. 🙏
