Hello, my name is Champ. I'm planning to visit Seoul for a beauty consultation soon, but I'm currently confused about the language. I'm quite worried that even if I speak English during the consultation, it might not be enough. 😅
Has anyone been to Seoul before? Generally, at clinics, is English sufficient if we're not fluent, or do we need to prepare anything special? Sometimes I wish for a detailed consultation that might even require a translator. I'm not sure if they provide one or if I need to hire one myself. I'm Thai, so I don't really trust myself when speaking English. 😭
If anyone has experience or tips, please share. Thank you in advance!

I totally get how you feel! I was worried about the same thing at first, but actually, in Seoul, most people at clinics speak pretty good English and can understand what you want done 😊 If you're worried about your voice, you could try preparing key vocabulary or bringing photos of what you want.
Champ! I was wondering, when you prepare to speak with clinics, could you try contacting them in advance to ask about language and interpreters? Because some places might have a team that speaks it or can arrange for one 😊
I was also nervous the last time I went to Seoul for a consultation 😅 But I found that many clinics actually have consultants who speak English. You can call them beforehand to ask if they offer English services, which will make you feel much more at ease! If you're worried about not being able to explain the details clearly, I suggest using a translation app to take photos or write down the results you want and bring them with you. Visual communication is sometimes more effective than speaking.
