Hi everyone! I'm Wanting from Taiwan. I just had a mini treatment yesterday, and my face is a bit swollen and has some bruising. I know this is a normal reaction, but I'd like to ask if anyone has any tips for daily care? Like how long to apply ice packs, what dietary or lifestyle habits to pay attention to, etc.
The doctor gave me some basic care instructions, but I'd like to hear other people's personal experiences. I'd especially like to know how everyone got through the swelling period, and if there are any tips to make the recovery process more comfortable? I'm a little nervous right now and hope the swelling goes down quickly 😅
If anyone has had a similar treatment, I'd love to hear your stories! Thank you all~

Hi Wan! I also experienced the same thing after treatment, and I did panic a bit haha 😅 In my experience, ice cubes really help, but don't leave them on for too long, and stressing out can actually make the swelling last longer, so try to relax! Hopefully, the swelling will go down soon, it will be fine.
I've been through this too and found that lying with your head elevated and drinking plenty of water really helps reduce swelling. Just be patient and it will get better! 💪
Oh, you're free! When I was swollen like this, I did the same thing: alternating between applying cold compresses and resting, drinking lots of water, and sleeping with my head elevated. It really helps. I made sure not to do anything strenuous for the first 2-3 days. 😊
I totally understand how you feel! I was also swollen for several days after my treatment in Seoul, and I was really worried 😅 In my experience, ice packs are very important for the first three days, but later I found that getting enough sleep and eating less spicy food also seemed to help, and the swelling seemed to subside faster. Hang in there, you should see a significant improvement in a few more days!
Ah, I completely understand your concern, Wanting! I also had a minor procedure last month and the swelling and bruising were terrifying to me at first 😅 But believe me, everything improved even more than I expected, patience really is the key!
