I've been wrestling with this decision lately. I want to get a skin treatment, and I have a clinic recommended by a doctor friend in China. I went for a consultation once and felt the doctor was very professional. However, I've always been drawn to Korean aesthetics and techniques, and after seeing many shared experiences on Xiaohongshu, it seems like people who go to Korea for treatments often have great results.
But honestly, going to Korea means considering the cost of time, round-trip flights, accommodation, etc., which might not be cheap when added up. And language communication is also an issue. Although there are translation apps, it still involves medical matters, and I feel a bit uneasy. It's much more convenient in China, and follow-up visits are easier if any issues arise.
Are there any sisters out there who have gone through this dilemma? How did you finally decide? Did you choose to get it done in China or grit your teeth and go to Korea? I'd love to hear everyone's considerations, especially from those who have experienced treatments in both places. Can you share your thoughts?
