I just had a minor cosmetic procedure here and currently have some swelling and slight bruising. I know this is a normal part of the recovery process, but I want to make sure I'm doing everything I need to for aftercare.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Can anyone share general tips on how to reduce swelling and bruising, or things to avoid in the first few days? I'm guessing keeping it warm, avoiding strenuous activity, and maybe using cold water are necessary, but I'd love to hear everyone's real-life experiences.
Thank you all so much! I'm really looking forward to some friendly advice from those who've been through it. 😊

I also just finished a minor procedure a few weeks ago and can totally relate to what you're going through! Swelling and bruising are indeed a normal part of the recovery process, but I completely understand wanting to make sure we're doing the aftercare correctly. From my experience, ice in the first few days is super helpful, and avoiding strenuous exercise is also important so as not to worsen the swelling. Hope you recover quickly! 😊
