I would like to ask those considering a facelift: What are the most important things to keep in mind during the recovery period? In particular, I would appreciate it if you could share any effective methods for pain management and reducing swelling. I am also curious about what dietary habits or lifestyle routines were helpful during recovery, and what precautions you took when returning to your daily life. I would like to hear from those who have experience with this.

I knew moderate exercise was necessary during the recovery from a facelift, so I went for walks, but I don't think you should push yourself beyond that. Pain seems to vary from person to person, and to reduce swelling, I tried to go to bed as early as possible and wake up early to walk a lot. At first, I avoided salty and spicy foods, and since chewing was a bit uncomfortable, I mainly ate soy milk and soft foods.
