Hi, my name is View. I just had a minor surgical procedure on my forehead today, and now it's swollen and slightly bruised. 😅 I'm worried about how to properly care for it. Has anyone had experience with this?
Initially, the doctor at the clinic told me to use ice and avoid touching it, but I'd like to know if there are any other ways to reduce swelling faster. Do I need to stay in bed for a long time, or can I walk around normally? I'm worried that walking around town might affect the swelling. 😭
And how strict should I be about avoiding things? I enjoy exercising, so I'm concerned about how many days I need to stay in bed. Will washing my face or sleeping on my side affect it? Does anyone have any experience they can share? Thank you! 🙏

First of all, hello! I hope you are doing well 😊 I was also thinking about having this procedure done, so your experience is very interesting! Did you get any specific recommendations from your doctor, or did you just have to look for a therapist during this time?
Hey! I did something similar last year when I visited, and honestly the first few days were just about being patient with the swelling—it's totally normal. I'd just stick with what your doctor said about ice and not touching it, and maybe try to keep your head elevated when you're resting, that seemed to help me more than anything else!
