Hello everyone, I'm Liyun from Taiwan. I've been considering getting cosmetic procedures in Korea recently, but my biggest issue is that my Korean isn't very good. I'm worried about misunderstandings when reading reviews. While some translation software is decent, the translated text still feels a bit off, and sometimes it's hard to tell if a review is genuine or... well, you know.
I wanted to ask everyone, how do you determine the authenticity of reviews when choosing a clinic? Are there any obvious red flags I should be wary of? For example, if a review is too perfect, uses excessive praise, or seems to be written by new accounts, should I be cautious? Also, where do you usually look for reviews that you find reliable – is it better to use specific platforms?
I know I need to do my own research, but it would be great to hear some practical advice from those with experience. Thank you all!

Hi Liyun! As a foreigner myself, I'm in a similar situation. You're absolutely right – reading comments when your language skills aren't great can be really confusing! I also use English translations, but sometimes they're truly bizarre. I'm also curious about the answer to your question, very happy to hear it :)
