Hey everyone! So I just had a small procedure done here in Korea and I'm trying to figure out the best way to manage the swelling and bruising over the next week or so. I've done some research online but honestly everyone's experience seems different, so I thought I'd ask the community.
Right now I'm mostly just trying to keep my head elevated and avoiding anything too hot, which seems to be helping a little? I'm also being super careful about my skincare routine — keeping it minimal and gentle. Has anyone here gone through something similar and found certain things that actually helped? I'm wondering about things like ice vs. heat, how long to avoid makeup, whether certain supplements actually make a difference, that kind of thing.
I know everyone heals at their own pace and I'm definitely not expecting instant results, but I'd love to hear what worked for you guys during recovery. Any general tips or what to avoid would be really helpful! Also curious if there's anything I should be watching out for that would warrant checking back in with the clinic.

I totally get the swelling stress! From my own experience here, I found that sleeping with an extra pillow really did seem to help more than I expected—gravity is honestly your friend during recovery. Also, I just kept my routine super basic like you're doing and honestly that made me feel calmer about the whole thing, even if I'm not 100% sure how much it actually sped things up.
