Hi everyone, I'm Ying. I'm considering getting a cosmetic consultation in Seoul, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I'd definitely feel more comfortable speaking Chinese. I'd like to ask if English is sufficient for communication in a Seoul consultation room? Or is it better to have a translator with me for safety?
I've seen some clinics have Chinese-speaking staff, but not all of them do. Has anyone tried communicating entirely in English? Are the doctors able to clearly explain the treatment plans and precautions? I'm particularly worried about misunderstandings regarding details, since it involves my face.
If I were to hire a translator, do you have any suggestions? Or is language really such a big problem, or am I overthinking it? Thank you so much!
