Hello, I'm Dana from the UAE and I'm considering a cosmetic procedure here in Korea. The problem is, I'm trying to read reviews and opinions on local platforms, but my Korean is very weak 😅 I feel like I'm not getting the real picture of people's actual experiences. How do you all deal with this? Is there a reliable way without relying entirely on translation?
Also, if you don't mind, I'd like to know: are there specific warning signs that make me doubt the reviews themselves? Sometimes I feel like some opinions don't seem natural, and honestly, I don't know how to distinguish between what's real and what's written just to attract people. Does anyone have experience with this? Any tips on how to choose a reliable place without being advanced linguistically?

Dara and I feel the same way! 😅 It's really difficult when you're not fluent in Korean. I tried to find people at the clinic who spoke English to consult with, and asked them to explain things clearly without rushing. However, I still found some reviews that seemed strange. That's very important, so I focused more on people who posted actual photos or descriptions because they seemed more natural and genuine.
I'm also from the UAE and thinking about the same thing, and I understand your concern about the language barrier 😅 I focus on real before-and-after photos and videos instead of relying on text, and I also try to connect with girls who have actually tried it to ask them directly in Arabic!
Hi Dina, I understand your concerns. I had a similar issue when I first came to Korea 😅 Have you tried asking other foreigners directly or looking for international communities on social media? I find that approach allows for direct communication in English or your native language, at the very least.
