Hi, my name is Choka. I'm planning to get cosmetic procedures in Seoul this summer, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. I'm not very good at English, and I'd really like to be able to explain things in detail in Japanese.
If any of you have actually gone for a consultation, could you tell me how much Japanese they were able to accommodate? Should I confirm beforehand whether they have Japanese-speaking staff? Or is it possible to manage to some extent with English?
Since this is my first visit, I want to clearly communicate my wishes and concerns during the consultation, so I'd appreciate any advice on how to handle the language aspect. Any real-life experiences would be incredibly helpful!

I understand your concerns! I was thinking of going for a consultation in Seoul as well, and I'm worried about the language barrier too 😅 Try checking the clinic's website and sending an email in advance to ask if they have staff who speak Japanese. I've heard that many clinics in Seoul can offer some assistance. It's best to get a consultation before deciding to go home.
I understand your concern. I've been thinking about this too. From what I've heard, most places try to respond in Japanese or English to some extent, but I think it's best to contact them in advance to ask if they have staff who speak Japanese, as it can vary from place to place.
I was in the same situation, so I understand! If your Japanese isn't that good like mine, it would be a good idea to ask "Is there any Japan-speaking staff" when you first contact them via email, and it helped me a lot.
