Hello, it's Rin. I recently had a small procedure done in Seoul, but I experienced more swelling and bruising than I expected... I'm worried about how to take care of myself after returning to Japan.
I heard that it's best to apply cold compresses right after the procedure, so I've been using an ice pack for now, but for how many days should I continue? Also, how long does it usually take for bruising to disappear naturally? I know it varies from person to person, but I'd love to hear about everyone's experiences.
Additionally, please share any tips for daily life or recommended care methods. Are some people taking supplements? I understand there are individual differences, but it would be helpful if you could tell me about your care routines. Thank you in advance!

I have the same experience too! The cold really helps a lot in the first few days, but I noticed that light movement after a while (like a gentle walk) was better than sitting still; circulation helps a bit. And my swelling significantly reduced after about a week, but the bruising took a little longer. Good luck with you, Rin! 💙
Hi Rin! I also had noticeable swelling after my last minor treatment. I used cold compresses for about three to four days, and then switched to gentle moisturizing and sun protection. In my experience, keeping your face clean and getting good sleep also seems quite important. The speed at which swelling subsides feels like it varies from person to person, but it usually improves significantly within about a week! Hope you recover quickly too~
I totally understand how you feel! I've been through something similar before, and the swelling and bruising before traveling abroad can definitely make you a bit anxious. In my experience, I did cold compresses for about a week, and then started gentle care. Drinking plenty of water and getting enough rest seemed to help too, but everyone's recovery speed is really different. I hope your swelling goes down soon!
