Hi girls! 😊 I just finished a minor cosmetic procedure here in Korea and I'm experiencing the normal swelling and bruising that everyone expects. Honestly, it's my first time having something like this and I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience – how do you manage the swelling and bruising at home?
The doctor gave me the basic instructions, but I'd like to hear from friends who have gone through the same thing. Are ice and cold compresses okay in the first few days? And how many days does it usually take to see improvement? I'm also worried about movement and activities – should I really avoid exercise and sports?
Any advice based on your experience would be a huge help! And are there any specific things that helped you both mentally and physically during your recovery? Basically – how do you manage your mental state during this time? 🤍

I understand! It was my first time too 😅 I'd like to ask how severe the swelling and redness were? And how many days after the procedure did you experience it?
I completely understand how you feel! I also had my first treatment and was scared by the swelling and bruising, but I felt much better after listening to the advice of a local friend. In my experience, ice packs really helped for the first few days, but everyone's recovery speed seems to be different, so you may need to observe your body's reaction gradually. I hope other women can share their stories!
