Hi everyone! I'm planning a trip to Seoul next month to explore some aesthetic treatments, and I'm starting to stress about the language thing. I speak English (obviously lol), but my Korean is basically nonexistent beyond "hello" and "thank you."
Has anyone here gone through a consultation without speaking Korean? I'm wondering if clinics in Seoul have English-speaking staff, or if I should be looking into a translator service before I go. I don't want to show up and totally misunderstand what someone's telling me about a procedure, you know?
Also curious — did you feel like you could really communicate what you wanted, or was there stuff lost in translation? Any tips on how to prepare or what to ask beforehand? I'm trying to be realistic about this and not get in over my head, but I'd love to hear from people who've navigated this already.
Thanks in advance! 🙏
