Hi everyone, I'm Shuting from Taiwan. I'm currently considering some cosmetic procedures in Korea, but honestly, I'm a little worried about finding a truly trustworthy clinic. My Korean isn't very good, so translation is quite important for me.
I'd like to ask everyone, how do you select clinics? Are there any key points you absolutely need to confirm? For example, does the clinic provide reliable Chinese or English translators? I've heard that some people do video consultations first; is that safer?
Also, are there any red flags I should be aware of during the first consultation? I want to make sure I can clearly communicate my expectations and concerns, rather than misunderstandings due to language barriers. Does anyone have experience to share? Thanks!

Hi Shooting! I'm also Taiwanese, and I had the same concerns when I went to Seoul last time. My advice is to definitely inquire about their translation services beforehand via email in Chinese or English. Don't assume they offer it, otherwise you'll encounter communication problems on-site. Also, a friend told me that having a video consultation first can reduce uncertainty, at least ensuring the medical staff understands your needs! Good luck, and remember to trust your gut feeling 😊
