Hi everyone! I'm Shinichi. I recently had a minor beauty procedure done in Seoul, and now the swelling and bruising are quite noticeable. I kind of regret not asking for advice beforehand, haha. Right now, I'm just applying ice, eating a light diet, and trying to elevate my face as much as possible, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.
I wanted to ask everyone, how do you usually care for yourselves after similar procedures here? How long do you apply ice? Are there any foods you should avoid? I heard some people have had good results with cold sprays, but I don't know if that's true. I'm a little anxious now, afraid the swelling won't go down (although I know rationally that this is a normal recovery process).
If any of you ladies are willing to share your recovery diary or offer some advice, I would be so grateful! Just genuine personal experiences are fine; I just want to understand the general recovery process.

I completely understand how you feel! I've had similar minor procedures done before, and the swelling and bruising were quite alarming for the first few days, but they gradually subsided. Applying ice, elevating your face, and eating a light diet are all things you're doing correctly. I think the most important thing is to be patient and not worry too much—the recovery process does take time, but most people get through this stage smoothly.
I totally feel you on this — I did something similar last month and was definitely not as prepared as I should've been! The swelling is so frustrating, but honestly it does seem to get better day by day even when it doesn't feel like it. Keeping your head elevated while sleeping has helped me the most, and ice packs for like 15-20 minutes at a time (not too long though). I'm also curious what others say about the cooling spray thing because I've heard mixed things!
