Hi, this is Natsuki. I'm interested in cosmetic procedures in Korea, but honestly, I'm not very good at Korean, so I'm worried about whether I can properly understand clinic reviews. 😅
I've looked at several review sites in Japanese and English, but the information is limited... How do people who are actually looking for clinics in Korea find reliable information? Is using a translation app the only option, or is there a better way?
Also, are there any red flags that make you think, "Ah, this looks suspicious," when reading reviews? For example, reviews that only mention perfect results, or reviews with vague medical explanations... I think I might be more easily deceived because I'm a foreigner, so I'd appreciate any advice from those with experience.

Hi Natsuki! I still think using a translator is a good idea, but did you get any initial information from reviews of websites from foreign users in your country before you started? What level of experience do you have in this area?
Natsuki, I had the same problem when I first started! My advice is to use Google Translate and only read the claims and ignore the very good or very bad reviews — look for things with average ratings, that way you'll get more accurate information.
Natsuki-san, I was exactly the same! Using a translation app is good, but I also found it very helpful to sign up for local forums and ask Mongolian or English speakers — the honest discussions are usually very detailed and don't make any noise. Now I'm exchanging messages with friends, which is a much more valuable last minute thing!
I also use a translation app to read Korean reviews 😅 I was wondering if you've found any clinics with a lot of English or Japanese reviews on certain platforms? I'm also struggling with the information asymmetry issue right now.
