Hi everyone! I'm Yixuan from Taiwan, and I've been considering getting some aesthetic treatments in Korea recently, but honestly, I'm a bit apprehensive. Due to the language barrier, I'm really worried about miscommunication or ending up at an unreliable place.
I'd like to ask everyone, how do you find clinics? Are there any ways to verify if a clinic is trustworthy? For example, do they offer Chinese consultations, are the translators professional, or are there any specific things to look out for? I have no idea where to start researching, and Google searches seem to yield very disorganized information.
If anyone has gone through this before, could you please share your experience? Specifically, during the initial consultation, how can you ensure the doctor understands your needs? Thank you all!

Yixuan, I totally get how you feel! I was anxious at first too. Personally, I brought a translation app on my phone to my first consultation and showed my requests using text and images, which was quite effective. I feel like it reduced misunderstandings in communication 😊
